Last Days Here

A 9.14 Pictures production. (Worldwide sales: Submarine, NY.) Created by Sheena M. Joyce. Directed by Don Argott, Demian Fenton. With: Bobby Liebling, Sean Pelletier, Hallie Burns, Diane Liebling, Joe Liebling, Geof O'Keefe, Greg Mayne, Victor Griffin, J.B. Beverly, Phil Anselmo. An unexpected back-from-the-edge redemption proves dependably participating in rock-doc "Last Days Here," monitoring 3 years within the existence of cult music performer Bobby Liebling, whose band Pentagram never capitalized on its early promise. First seen as an tragic casualty, put up on heroin and crack, living around the charitable organisation of his seniors parents, the singer is pulled toward a hopeful future with the intervention of the fan-switched-manager and, more remarkably, the passion for a great lady. Pic is most likely too generic to achieve beyond its core aud of seventies heavy rock fans. Don Argott ("Rock School"), here joining track of Demian Fenton, finds a topic who's most amazing for still living. Precisely referred to as similar to a frozen caveman with active DNA, Liebling also harms themself because of his paranoid delusion of parasitic infection. This freakshow may have soon worn-out its welcome were it not for that engaging presence of parents Diane and Joe Liebling (the second an old security policy consultant who labored for eight Secretaries of Defense) and particularly of indefatigable manager Sean "Pellet" Pelletier, whose belief in Bobby is ultimately compensated.Camera (color, HD), Argot, Fenton editor, Fenton music, Pentagram, Stars from the Lid, Rachel Grimes. Examined at London Film Festival (World Cinema), March. 22, 2011. Running time: 91 MIN. Contact the range newsroom at news@variety.com
