Female artist's song with the lyrics about a storm and either standing or walking in the showers or shadows?

I've been searching for a song for about a month. I don't know who
sings it but it's a female artist, perhaps indie or british even. It's
a love song. And the only words I remember is a line about a storm and
then a few more lines later about standing or walking in the shower or
shadows. It's an acoustic or very slow song. I'd love to find it. It
sounds very similar to an Ingrid Michaelson sort of vibe or something
along the lines of her soulful, bluesy feeling.
